Classic Car Merchandise
July 15th, 2009
There are many of us who love the look, sound and feel that surrounds a classic car, but for one reason or another cannot own one. Perhaps we cannot afford what it costs to buy and maintain such an intricate piece of work. Perhaps it is an insurance thing – insuring a wonderful work of art is often complicated as they are magnets for thieves. One way or the other, some of us never get the opportunity. It is a shame, but the important thing is to look for another way we can indulge our passion without having to practically bankrupt ourselves.
Classic car merchandise is one way of doing this. As kids, just about all of us have posters on our bedroom walls. We start out, usually, with sports pictures, comic book characters or pop stars. As we get older, objects of affection or desire become more prominent and (maybe) more adult. Moving into adulthood, it tends to become a matter of pictures over posters. A framed artwork is acceptable where perhaps a poster would not be, and a framed artwork of a classic Alfa Romeo or a ’68 Impala will win cool points rather than stifled giggles.
Alternatively there are many other ways to put your passion on show. Key chains, drinks mugs, collectable models and so forth are all ways that “petrol heads” choose to exhibit their interest in the classic car. Whichever way you choose. However, just make sure you give it the deserved pride of place, the positioning that it merits.
